Class representatives: organising communication with families
Class representatives help connect families and schools. An organised routine makes it easier to share information, consult decisions and coordinate activities. RepClass provides a space for this work without changing the responsibilities defined by the school.

Start with the class information
When creating the class, check its name, school and academic year. Use an identity that families recognise. Before inviting participants, check that you are in the correct class. Clear organisation is particularly helpful for people who belong to several classes.
Invite people with the appropriate access
Use the class invitation for people who should join it. Teachers and families can have different roles according to their assigned access. The invitation to discover RepClass, available in Profile, introduces the platform and does not grant access to a class. Remember this difference when sharing a link.
Teacher participation is optional and by invitation. Teachers can publish homework with photos, documents and audio; the class remains private for parents and guardians.

Establish a routine for checking information
Explain where each type of information belongs. Publish notices in Announcements, events in Schedule and files in Documents. Homework and school timetables have their own sections. Explain this arrangement without assuming that everyone is connected all the time.

Use polls to gather preferences
A poll can gather opinions about a class activity. Describe the choices and context clearly. Use the result to support organisation while respecting decisions reserved for the school and the representative’s responsibilities. Do not present an informal poll as official permission.
Handle personal information carefully
Share only what is necessary for the class topic and check the available privacy preferences. Promotional screenshots should use fictional data or have appropriate permission. Organising content also means paying attention to who can access it.
Carry out a short weekly review
Check upcoming events, recent announcements and documents that need updating. A correctly identified class, an appropriate invitation and a clear announcement are enough to start a manageable routine. Read About RepClass and the announcements guide to organise the first pieces of content.

How RepClass helps your class
RepClass brings together announcements, homework, calendars, documents, polls and payment records in a space for parents and class representatives. Families browse by topic; invited teachers can publish homework with photos, documents and audio without entering the parents’ private space.
Announcements
Important notices get their own space, away from the flow of conversations.
A PRIVATE FAMILY SPACE
Teacher participation is optional and by invitation. Teachers can publish homework with photos, documents and audio; the class remains private for parents and guardians.

Does every family need a subscription?
No. The annual subscription is €29.90 for the whole class, with no family limit. The representative manages it; any cost sharing is agreed between participants.
